Assumed Onsite

People from a category (typically staff at schools and students) are assumed onsite until they inform the system about their departure by signing out. The system will automatically sign them back in the next day at a pre-determined time (e.g. 8.30am). If the system has NOT been told about the departure, it will assume that the person is still onsite. On return, the person will have to sign out before being able to sign in.

Assumed Offsite

This is the regular Sign In/Out process. People from a category (typically Visitor and Contractor) sign in on arrival and sign out on departure. The system will automatically sign them out (typically at 23:59) if they forgot to sign out that day.
