A Person can sign in/out on the tablet. This does not give them access to the Web Portal.
If you want to give someone access to the Web Portal, add them as a User.

I want to edit an existing list
I have my own list
Make sure your list has the following columns:
- Minimum: name
- Optional: company_name, phone_number, email
Email and Phone are used to send arrival notifications.
I want to edit an existing list
Go to the People Table and filter the list by category before downloading the results via "Download People".
After making your changes to the spreadsheet, you are ready to upload the list. Remember that the name column is required, all others are optional.
Upload List
After preparing your list, you are ready to upload the list.
1. Click on Upload People
2. Select a Category
3. Select Sites
4. Drag & Drop your .XLSX (Excel Spreasheet) file in the highlighted area
5. Click Upload
Note: If you want to replace all existing people in the selected category with the new list, turn on the slider "Deactivate people". This will deactivate anyone that is not in your spreadsheet and only the people that you now upload will be active.
Resolve Conflicts
Attribute is required so cannont be blank
Reason: Person Attribute is required to import this person
Solution: Edit the person and enter the required attribute manually
Invalid format for DOB
Reason: Accepted formats are yyyy-MM-dd, dd/MM/yyyy, dd-MMM-yyyy
Solution: Edit the person and enter the DOB manually or select "Update" to save with no DOB
Multiple copies in import
Reason: Person details match those of a person in the import (the file you are trying to upload)
Solution: Edit the duplicate person and remove duplicate value. If you want to allow duplicate entries, please submit a request.
Person already exists in client
Reason: Person details match those of an existing person
Solution: Select "Delete" to remove from import or "Accept" to update existing person
Person already exists in client - Inaccessible due to site limits
Reason: Person details match those of an existing person at another site that you don't have access to
Solution: Select "Delete" to remove from import and ask a user without Site Limits to add the person
Category combination not valid
Reason: Assumed Onsite Category can not be combined with Assumed Offsite category. To find out more, click here
Solution: Select "Delete" to remove from import and re-upload under original category
A name cannot be blank
Reason: Name is a minimum requirement to add people
Solution: Select "Edit" and add a name
Other
If you have simply downloaded your existing people, made some changes to the spreadsheet and want to re-upload the same list, make sure to select "Accept All" on the validation screen to import the list.
Pro Tip: Check the Checkbox at the top to reveal additional options, "Bulk Delete" and "Bulk Accept"
Pro Tip: To combine two cells into one (e.g. first name / last name to name), use this formula:
=PROPER((TRIM(A2))&" "&(TRIM(B2)))
